Dreamaway is situated in a quiet, family neighborhood very close to the Shoals Club. It is newly painted and professionally decorated. There is a separate crofter cottage, a screened porch and an outside deck with seating. There are two golf carts and all essential items for cooking and visiting the beach. A game of golf, tennis, or croquet is a short golf cart ride away.

Details: Treat yourself to a fabulous vacation! Bald Head Island is located a short ferry ride from Southport, North Carolina. Our home in Surfman’s Walk has 3 bedrooms, which sleep 8 people, and has 4 baths. One bedroom and bath is in a separate crofter cottage over the garage. The home is fully furnished and has all the amenities necessary for a wonderful, fun-filled family vacation, including a screened porch and outside deck, both equipped for eating. An enclosed outdoor, heated shower makes cleaning up after the beach fun and easy. Wifi Internet, A/C, bikes, and beach towels are also available.

Activities: Pristine, expansive South Beach is located a one-minute golf cart trip (or short walk) away and is seldom crowded. The island itself has all the required amenities but prides itself on allowing no cars, contributing to your privacy and peace and quiet. Though the island is a mere three miles long, there are two country clubs with all amenities. The Bald Head Island Club and The Shoals Club offer pool, tennis, golf, and both casual and fine dining. A temporary membership to either club is available with this rental.

Things to Love: Our island is smog free, car free, and sign free, has limited commercial development, and is a place where you can relax and your children can play freely. Watch the sunrise and sunset, clear night skies with no smog, only the moon and stars. We know you will love Bald Head Island as much as we do!

Golf: The Bald Head Island Club features a newly-renovated 18-hole golf course.
